(a) A Type 3 leak is not immediately hazardous at the time of detection and can be reasonably expected to remain that way.
(b) A Type 3 leak is any leak not classified as Type 1, 2A or 2.
(c) Type 3 leaks shall be reevaluated during the next required leakage survey or within one calendar year at intervals not exceeding 15 months, whichever is less.
