(a) Unless exempted in subdivision (b) of this section, sections 255.1003 through 255.1015 of this Part prescribe the minimum requirements for a GDPIM program for any gas distribution pipeline covered under this Part, including liquefied petroleum gas systems. A gas distribution operator, must follow the requirements in section 255.1015 of this Part.
(b) Exceptions. Sections 255.1003 through 255.1015 of this Part do not apply to:
(1) Individual service lines directly connected to a production pipeline;
(2) Individual service lines directly connected to either a transmission line or a gathering line and maintained in accordance with subdivisions 255.740(a) and (b) of this Part; and
(3) Master meter systems.
